Welcome to Bonnet Therapy, a nonprofit youth organization dedicated to the empowerment of Black girls. At Bonnet Therapy, we are more than an organization; we are a movement advocating for mental health and inspiring positive change.
We passionately believe in empowering Black girls to overcome challenges, break barriers, and thrive in a world that often presents unique obstacles. Our mission is not just to address mental health but to tackle a spectrum of issues affecting Black girls today.
Advocacy through Media: Our YouTube channel serves as a powerful platform for mental health advocacy. We break down barriers, discuss challenging topics, and provide insights to inspire change.
EmpowerHer Sessions: Our one-on-one sessions provide a safe space for Black girls to express themselves, covering a wide range of issues, including racism, discrimination, sexism, religion, self-esteem, generational curses, trauma, recovery, and healing.
Scholarships and Grants: Bonnet Therapy is committed to making dreams come true. We offer scholarships and grants to support the academic and personal endeavors of Black girls, helping them succeed against all odds.
Our origins stem from a deep understanding of the challenges faced by Black girls, and we are committed to being the solution. Founded by Diamonds, a graduate student passionate about bridging gaps in support systems, Bonnet Therapy was born to counter microaggressions, biases, and societal expectations that often stifle the true essence of Black women.
