A relaxing immersive virtual trip amidst the lush mangrove forests of Bongsanglay Natural Park, a 244-hectare protected area located in Ticao Island, Masbate that is home to 34 mangrove species, including the biggest mangrove tree in Bicol Region.
Bongsanglay Natural Park is highlighted in the Year of the Protected Areas (YoPA) campaign that encourages sustainable ecotourism activities to help conserve the Philippines’ protected areas. YoPA is a campaign of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), the Department of Tourism (DOT), the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), and the Biodiversity Finance Initiative (BIOFIN) of UNDP Philippines.
