My plan is to release it Q4 2025 or Q1 2026. This depends on several factors, but at this time I'm on track for around those times.
Realms & Ruins: Abencor is a first-person, grid-based dungeon crawler with retro pixel art style. It's a loveletter to old school dungeon crawlers like Might & Magic or Wizardry.
The game is planned for release on PC/Steam initially.
No, R&R is a handcrafted world. Each tile, NPC and treasure is placed by me in the game world.
This is hard to say. I can beat the main quest of the game in several hours, but of course I know all the things there is to know about the game to make it faster and easier.
I would estimate, 15-20+ hours but YMMV if you explore every tile or speed run through it.
Yes, in addition to combat and crawling, there's puzzles throughout the game world.
There are no current plans to make R&R a multiplayer experience.
Yes, you gain stat points when you level up and can spend them how you please. In addition to finding treasure and equipment like swords, daggers, staffs, bows etc the compliment different playstyles like a wizard, warrior or rogue.
