With the ever-changing world of social media, we’re proud to share how our presence has grown and how we’ve connected with even more people across the Humber region and beyond. In 2024, Future Humber reached an incredible total social media reach of 815,000, with over 18,000 followers engaging with our content on platforms. This increased engagement has allowed us to share news, events, and opportunities with a wider audience than ever before.
Our redesigned Future Humber website has been at the heart of this success. By focusing on original digital content, we’ve seen a significant rise in website engagement, with over 160,000 sessions driven primarily by organic search. This reflects how people are not just visiting but actively seeking out and valuing what we have to offer. Video content has also been an important part of our strategy, with 1,200 views showcasing the growing interest in dynamic, multimedia storytelling.
The Humber Spotlight e-newsletter, redesigned as part of the Future Humber rebrand, continues to connect and inform our community of bondholders every fortnight. With over 7,100 subscribers and an impressive 96,000 opens, it’s clear that this channel remains vital for sharing regional updates and opportunities. Over 710 stories were shared this year, ensuring our bondholders stay informed and engaged with opportunities and success stories from our network.
We’re also thrilled to see the Humber’s story shared far and wide, thanks to strengthened relationships with regional and national media. With having publications in the likes of The Yorkshire Post and The Economist, we’re proud to showcase the region’s dynamic growth and its position as a leading place to live, work, and invest.
