NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING
A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the Bonanza Big Springs Park & Recreation District, Klamath County, State of Oregon,
to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026, will be held on Thursday, April 24th at 5:30pm at the Bonanza
Community Center: 31899 Hwy 70, Bonanza Oregon. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive
comment from the public on the budget. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place.
The public can also email suggestions and/or comments via email beforehand to bonanzaparkandrec@gmail.com. A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after April 22 at 1pm via email request to bonanzaparkandrec@gmail.com

Request for Proposals for Public Improvements
Big Springs Playground Rehabilitation and Development Project
Proposals DUE: March 28, 2024 at 6:00pm
Bonanza Big Springs Park and Recreation District is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to assume the design & construction processes and management for the rehabilitation and development of Big Springs Park’s playground. The existing playground is located at Big Springs Park in Bonanza, Oregon. The general nature of work shall include furnishing all equipment, materials and labor required to build an ADA compliant facility with a wide-range of age-appropriate structures including fitness structures and a poured in place rubber safety base. The park board is seeking the highest quality service and products available with emphasis on durable structures that exceed all safety standards and meets all requirements for playgrounds through the state and county codes, permits, and statutes where applicable. The park board has expressed interest in visiting any previous projects completed by the proposer within a 150-mile radius. Please provide any project addresses that apply.
Work under this contract will be funded in part with grant funds from the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department. The total project budget is $739,187.

This contract will be for constructing an ADA Accessible Playground for public use which makes it subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870 (prevailing wage laws, Oregon Bureau of Labor & Industry). Certified payroll reports will be required on a monthly basis.
Each bid must contain a statement as to whether the bidder is a resident bidder as defined in ORS 279A.120.
Each bid must also contain a signed copy of the requirement for registration with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board.
Sealed bids must be received by 6:00pm, PST, on March 28, 2024 at the above address. Mis – deliveries, late or faxed submittals will be considered nonresponsive. Bonanza Big Springs Park and Recreation District reserves the right to reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public contracting procedures and requirements and may reject for good cause all bids upon a finding of the Bonanza Big Springs Park and Recreation District that is in the public interest to do so and at its sole option may waive any minor informalities in any bid.
