Hey there,
I’m so glad you’re here.
Leadership isn’t just about titles, strategies, or climbing the ladder it’s about who we are, how we show up, and the impact we make on others. I believe that to lead well, we first have to understand ourselves, our values, our lived experiences, the way we connect with people, and our God-given purpose. That belief is at the heart of my work, and it’s deeply personal to me.
I grew up in a small town in Arkansas, where community wasn’t just a word, it was a way of life. We showed up for each other. We celebrated together, grieved together, and made sure no one was left behind. That sense of belonging and responsibility shaped me and taught me that leadership isn’t about standing above people, it’s about standing with them.
My parents played a huge role in shaping my perspective. My father, a pastor, showed me what it means to lead with faith, integrity, and a heart for service. My mother, an educator, taught me the power of learning, curiosity, and believing in people’s potential. Their example instilled in me a deep appreciation for purpose-driven leadership, and it’s why I do what I do today.
Over the past decade, I’ve worked across nonprofit, philanthropy, and higher education, helping leaders, teams, and organizations create spaces where people feel seen, valued, and empowered. But leadership isn’t just about systems and strategies, it’s about identity, social capital, and the ways our lived experiences shape how we make decisions and connect with others.
That’s why my approach is different. I don’t just help people build skills, I help them understand who they are and how that shapes their leadership. When we know ourselves, we lead with more confidence, we build stronger relationships, and we create cultures where people thrive.
