Dr. Sangho Bok is an associate professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Denver. He obtained his PhD degree from the University of Missouri. After graduation, he joined a startup company focusing on nanotechnology and its applications. Then he moved to Southern Utah University as an assistant professor of Electrical Engineering. In summer 2022, he moved to the University of Denver. He received an NSF CAREER award in 2021.
Graduate Students
Juiena Hasan is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Science at the University of Denver. Her research interests lie at the intersection of electrical engineering and biomedicine, with a particular focus on the development of innovative technologies for healthcare applications.
Juiena's Master's thesis has laid the foundation for her current research towards her Ph.D., which is focused on the fabrication of biomedical sensors, biomedical instrumentation, and assistive technology.
Sky Sun is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Science at the University of Denver.
He received his Master's and Bachelor's degree both in the Electrical and Computer Engineering, and he is interested in the multidisciplinary study of electrical engineering and bioengineering.
Undergraduate Students
An electrical engineering student interested in engineering tools of scientific discovery who is president of the University of Denver's IEEE student branch and officer in other academic societies including Tau Beta Pi. Into outdoor activities including road and mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, and fishing.
Jiajun Zhang is a junior student at the University of Denver with a keen interest in embedded coding and mechanical arms. He likes traversing the globe to feel diverse cultures. He also enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and skiing.
Visitors
Mido Kim is a visiting student from South Korea. She is pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Electric & Electronic Engineering at Yonsei University in South Korea. She is eager to explore various fields of biomedical engineering, particularly biosensing platforms and medical imaging. When not studying or researching, Mido enjoys taking digital and film photos, exploring the city, and watching baseball.
