What is Bokhwa?
Established in April 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. Bokhwa's founder who is an autoimmune survivor cannot eat products with gluten, yet still craves for desserts.
Dissapointed with gluten free options on the marketplace that are dry, overly sweet, and leave a bad aftertaste, Bokhwa's founder set out to make desserts that are soft, moist and not too sweet as well as desserts that are guilt free and safe to consume.

What is Gluten Free?
In short, gluten free means that a product does not contain the protein called gluten, which is responsible for the chewy texture on so many products such as noodles, bread and cake.
Common misconceptions about gluten free is that it is the same as sugar free or a diet program when in fact they are not the same. Common symptoms of regular gluten consumption include bloated stomach, stomach aches, diarrhea and joint pain.
