International Collaborations
Collaborative Research Project with Texas Biomedical Research Institute, San Antonio, TX, US (2024).
In collaboration with Texas Biomed, I am currently engaged in a research project that applies machine learning techniques to pattern recognition in HIV and cancer sequences. This work aims to advance our understanding of sequence variation, supporting biomedical research with computational insights for potential therapeutic developments.
Visited CISCO Systems, Austin, TX, US (April 2014).
Working closely with Dr. Xiaoqing Zhu during this visit, helped me to better formulate my video streaming algorithm which was published in IEEE Transaction on Multimedia. This visit also helped me to increase the industrial impact of my research.
Visiting Scholar, Texas Biomedical Research Institution, US (Jan-April 2025).
I will be visiting the Texas Biomed from Jan 2025 for a period of 4 months which can be extended.
Visiting Scholar, Georgia Institute of Technology, GA, US (Jan-April 2014).
Worked on a Video Streaming related research project in Prof. Mostafa Ammar’s research lab for a period of 3 months. This visit was during my Ph.D. studies and helped me to better shape my future research. I was able to better understand the Video Streaming problems and build the foundations of a new streaming protocol that was projected in my later publications.
