About us:

The Boise High Writing Assistance Center (or WAC), prides itself on providing quality writing feedback for students, by students! Our tutors are excellent student writers and are trained to provide quality feedback to help you become an excellent student writer too. Our tutors are Boise High students. This means they understand your assignments and the teachers giving them. Come in and let us help you!

We are open Mondays through Fridays at lunch, from 11:45-12:15 (12:05-12:35 on Wednesdays), in Mrs. Rotchford's room 515 to discuss, revise, and edit writing of all kinds! From Common Application essays, to timed writes, to DBQs, to lab write ups - we can help.

We believe that writing is a process of more than just letters, commas, and periods. That's why we approach a tutoring session with the idea that it is a student-led conversation, not just an exchange of paper and pen marks. Of course we will look at grammar and sentence structure, but we also want to be there to help develop overall ideas and themes.
