Cub Scouts is a fun, adventurous program designed for young kids who want to embrace the values and spirit of Scouting America but are too young to join a full scout troop. At Cub Scout Pack 97, boys and girls ages 5-12 (K-5th grades) develop character, leadership skills, physical fitness, and a strong sense of faith through exciting activities, outdoor adventures, and shared experiences. Pack 97 is a family pack that fosters a love of outdoors with at least one outdoor activity planned every month.
Pack 97 gathers every week at the Cathedral of the Rockies Amity Campus (4464 S. Maple Grove Rd, Boise, ID 83709), where we've been meeting for over 40 years. Our Pack stays active year-round with engaging scouting activities. During the school year, we meet every Tuesday at 6:15pm. Scouts take part in meaningful service projects for both the Cathedral of the Rockies Amity Campus and our local community.
Youth can join Cub Scouts at any point throughout the year. We have upcoming events that are perfect for new families to meet the Pack, learn more about Scouting, and get started on an exciting journey!
