Places to Visit

Here are some places close by that you can go visit. Some even for free!

William K. Sanford Town Library

Here they offer many books for children and adults to take for free. All you need is a library card, which you can get there.

They also offer classes and other fun activities for all ages.

Children's Museum

This is an interactive science museum where children can learn about science through playing with the exhibits. Cost is $8 per person.

Museum of Science

Another science museum where children can learn through play. Cost is $8 or $12.

Thacher Park

This is a state park with a playground, picnic area, and many trails that can be explored. Cost is $6 per car.

This is a place with a lot of different actives depending on the weather and time of year. They have apple picking in the fall and baby animals to visit in the spring. They also have a nature trail. Cost is $7 per adult.

New York State Museum

This museum has many different exhibits on New York and the history of our state. Museum is free!

The Children's Museum

Art and artifacts are featured in the Museum’s hands-on learning space go! where children discover the world. Cost is $5 per person.

Aquarium

This is a place with a lot of fish and sea life to look at. They even have a tour of the back of the aquarium! Cost is $11-$16.

Ellms Farms

This is a farm in Saratoga with pick your own pumpkins and farm animals.

Steamer 10 Theatre

This is a community theater in Albany that puts on shows for families.

Saratoga Children's Museum

This is another children's play museum. Price is $8.
