Biogenesis of miRNAs consists of the stepwise processing of pri-miRNAs in the nucleus and the cytoplasm. We are interested in understanding how cells regulate this process under normal and pathological conditions.

Decay of mature miRNAs can happen through multiple pathways. Up to date, three distinct mechanisms have been identified. We are interested in understanding better how different co-factors and RNAs contribute to regulate miRNA levels .
