This Privacy Policy explains how BodyMetrics AI collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected.
Important Summary: BodyMetrics AI processes body scans and posture landmark detection 100% on-device using local neural vision models. Your personal photos and biometric camera frames are never uploaded, stored, or transmitted to any external servers.
The App requires camera permission solely to facilitate real-time body landmark detection and posture analysis. Camera frames are analyzed locally in your device's memory in real time and are immediately discarded. No camera images or video recordings are transmitted to us or any third parties.
Scan measurements (such as calculated posture metrics, symmetry scores, and timestamped progress logs) are stored strictly on your local device storage. You can delete this data at any time by clearing the app data or uninstalling the app.
We may collect non-personally identifiable diagnostic information (such as operating system version, device model, and crash logs) through third-party services to help maintain app stability and improve user experience.
The App integrates standard third-party services that may collect information used to identify your device:
Google ML Kit: Provides on-device neural vision processing for pose detection without cloud processing.
Firebase Analytics: Used to measure anonymous app engagement and crash metrics to improve app performance.
We use the data solely to:
Provide real-time biometric posture, symmetry, and physique metric calculations.
Maintain and save your scan history on your local device.
Deliver configuration updates and ensure app stability.
Because your scanning data and body landmark calculations reside solely on your physical device, you retain full ownership and control over your data. We do not maintain any cloud database containing your personal health or biometric details.
BodyMetrics AI is not targeted towards individuals under the age of 13 (or 16 depending on applicable law). We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
