Bocce at St. James

2026 Fall Season is coming soon!

League matches for the Wednesday league will begin on Wednesday, Aug. 26 th and continue each Wednesday through Oct. 28th for the regular season. Playoffs are scheduled for Wednesday., Nov. 4th and the championship game on Wednesday, Nov 11th. Matches start at 4:00 pm and are completed by 6:00 pm.

League matches for the Sunday league will begin on Sunday, Sept. 13th and continue each Sunday through Sunday, Nov. 8th for the regular 9-week season. Playoffs are scheduled for Sunday Nov. 15 and the championship game on Sunday Nov. 22nd. Matches are played at either 1:00 pm or 3:00 pm depending on your team's court schedule for that day.

Please note: Recreational play without a league commitment is available on Saturday mornings at 9:00 am.

Waterway Park's Bocce Courts

Bocce at St. James Plantation has five bocce courts that were built and are maintained by the members of the Wednesday and Sunday leagues. The leagues have both spring and fall seasons that run for 10 weeks with playoffs at the end of each season.

Our Leagues

Bocce at St. James currently has two leagues: Waterway Bocce plays on Wednesday at 4:00pm and St. James Bocce plays on Sunday at 1pm and 3pm. Both leagues have a spring and fall season that run for 10 weeks with a playoffs followed by a season ending party for it's members. Learn the game and join the fun! Waterway Bocce - Wednesday

Match play every Wednesday at 4:00pm,

Four players (two at each end) from each team play per court, alternating sides.

Each team plays two matches that consists of 3 games.

A team must score 9 points to win a game.

Two courts are used by each team.

Great for those who still work and don't have time to play on the weekends.

St. James Bocce - Sunday

Match play every Sunday at either 1:00pm or 3:00pm.

Two players from each team play per court, throwing from one end then the other.

Each team play 4 matches that consists of 3 games.

A team must score 9 points to win a game.

Four courts are used by each team.

Competitive friendly competition in the early afternoon, leaving time for early morning or late afternoon activities.
