Welcome to Bocce at St. James Plantation, where we play the game that goes back thousands of years. We currently have two leagues: Waterway Bocce plays on Wednesday and St. James Bocce plays on Sunday. Open play is every Saturday. The bocce members will help you learn, play, and love this classic sport. Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the game, join us for fun, and friendly competition.

Waterway Park's Bocce Courts

Bocce at St. James Plantation has five bocce courts that were built and are maintained by the members of the Wednesday and Sunday leagues. The leagues have both spring and fall seasons that run for 10 weeks with playoffs at the end of each season. Interested in learning and playing this fast growing sport - sign up to play on one or both of the leagues!

Our Leagues

Bocce at St. James currently has two leagues: Waterway Bocce plays on Wednesday at 4:30pm and St. James Bocce plays on Sunday at 1pm and 3pm. Both leagues have a spring and fall season that run for 10 weeks with a playoffs followed by a season ending party for it's members. Learn the game and join the fun! Waterway Bocce - Wednesday

Match play every Wednesday at 4:30pm,

Four players (two at each end) from each team play per court, alternating sides.

Each team plays two matches that consists of 3 games.

A team must score 9 points to win a game.

Two courts are used by each team.

Great for those who still work and don't have time to play on the weekends.

St. James Bocce - Sunday

Match play every Sunday at either 1:00pm or 3:00pm.

Two players from each team play per court, throwing from one end then the other.

Each team play 4 matches that consists of 3 games.

A team must score 9 points to win a game.

Four courts are used by each team.

Competitive friendly competition in the early afternoon, leaving time for early morning or late afternoon activities.
