Here is a quick overview of our robot:
Based on the Advanced Driving Base design
Modular fixture system allows quick and easy swapping
Supports multiple sensor types, though none were used in this build
SPIKE Prime hub is conveniently mounted on top, making access and usability super easy
Uses a LEGO Technic edge belt wheel for improved precision and control
Equipped with 2 powered drive wheels, 2 attachment motors, and a SPIKE Prime hub
To start on the Advanced Driving Base, we first built the fixtures and the chassis of the wheels and motors that Spike Prime provided to us. We then attached the hub and the different frames to each other under a universal structure, proceeding to attach the generic fixtures. This is how we got a head start for our competition.
