Bob Castrone is a comedy writer/producer/director from Pearl River, New York. Over the course of his career, Bob has written, produced, directed, and developed original programming for FOX, Disney, Peacock, Comedy Central, Awesomeness, SpikeTV, TBS, TruTV, E!, MTV, VH1, and countless 'upstart' networks with names too embarrassing to list.
As a director, Bob has enjoyed working with incredible comedic talent including Kevin Hart, Kumail Nanjiani, Eric Andre, Marc Maron, Melissa Rauch, Pete Holmes, Paul Scheer, George Lopez, Ed Asner, Judd Hirsch, Fred Willard, Hilary Duff, and many, many more.
As a writer, Bob has worked in both scripted and unscripted comedy. His first feature film, the indie-comedy Flock Of Dudes, premiered at the LA FIlm Festival in 2015. His failed pilots for Comedy Central, SpikeTV, and Disney XD did not premiere at all.
In 2016 Bob served as the Head Writer on Comedy Central's adult-themed talk show Not Safe With Nikki Glaser, starring comedian Nikki Glaser. In 2024 Bob wrote for Nikki on Amazon's Thursday Night Football "Late Hits" post-game segment, and he was beyond thrilled to be part of her writing team when she hosted the 2025 Golden Globes.
In the unscripted space, Bob has served as a Consulting Producer & Co-EP on all five seasons of FOX's LEGO Masters, hosted by Will Arnett. Recently, he wrote on NBC's upcoming special Joan Rivers: Dead Funny, where his role consisted of composing stand-up bits and sketches for a variety of performers including Joel McHale, Michelle Buteau, Rita Wilson, and Rachel Brosnahan.
In the commercial and branded space, Bob has written and directed content for McDonalds, Old Spice, Dick's Sporting Goods, FIFA, TopGolf, Supercell, Red Bull, Roland, and FanDuel. From 2005-2009 Bob produced over one-hundred comedic online shorts that garnered over 50 million views across YouTube, SuperDeluxe, and Funny Or Die. They have since all been scrubbed from the internet, because he would like to continue working in Hollywood.
