Graduation, yeah? I am still doing my things for it including events and they haven't impacted me as much as people claim they do, but I would like to imagine I process things very slowly so maybe it will hit me sooner or later. I have some stuff already set and ready to go, so hopefully everything is set and done for the future. This also means I might have more or less time to do things, depends on but we will see. My main concern is how I will get to everything since the spot I am in is not ideal for all of what I have lined up, but I am sure I will be able to push with it. Right now, I just feel stressed with the events since I don't do so well in very social environments, but I am sure things will ease up. Wish me the best!
Now to some Otaku stuff a.k.a things I want to mention that only matter to me! Do y'all know about Touhou 20? Well, the demo came out and it is SUPER FUN! There is some dramas birth from it, but we will not focus on that. The music slaps like usual, no comment on them. The gameplay style is back to the traditional Reimu and Marisa but with a shot type build system identical to that of 16 and some gameplay elements from Black Market. A good and hard way to go back and revitalize the Windows 3rd Gen era Touhou for the basically fifth time now. For safety measures, I will encourage you to just look it up online and see the game demo yourself. A LOT of people like a specific Egyptian lady so look forward to her road blocking abilities too.
Super small segment. Why So Serious got with some other publishers this time and released some intresting titles. Got my eyes one two which one has released their Texas Hold House gameplay loop, with a honestly interesting story and another being a rhythm game being constantly delayed and finally having a launch date so I am ready for it! As for Needy Girl content, the Radio Talk Show ended nicely with some cool episiodes and whatnot alongside a now removed cover of Marisa Stole the Precious Thing with KAngel and a new project in the works from Nyalra so I can't wait and see what will come to be from it!
Furthermore, I hope y'all know who Flavor Foley is because oh my lord, they have done it again!
I have been trying to decipher what the song means and all of the changes the Foley team did on their site and all. Song is a nice ARG like style about not wanting to be left behind, but I am so sure it is not love flavors again like the pervious album, so I am really interested to see where this goes.
Jamie Paige also released as a totally not secret song called Little Anger. I have my hands on it but I am also waiting on the official drop for it because it is such a good song and tune for Yi Xi. Can't say much yet about this due to the totally not hidden nature of it, so just keep an eye on it will ya?
On a similar note, I want to follow up with the Vocaloid Blog from February to a degree. Hatsune Miku Colorful Stage: A Miku Who Can't Sing was very amazing film... I ADORE it so much I even have a cam-rip on me so I can share some intel here that I may have forgotten about it! This WILL go into spoilers so be aware of that. The story follows some Project Sekai lore; I started to educate myself on some of it before I went and honestly it didn't matter anyways, ha-ha. So now onto actually talking about the movie in detail.
The way the movie introduces the new Miku and Sekai is super vague with the lyrics "Someday, our frequencies will meet. Somehow the veils will lift," after being cut to some humming, but it for sure makes sense later on. A static figure of said Miku is shown in random places and with different people.
Afterwards, the Leo/Need cast makes an appearance, which isn't to big but I figure I mention it. They have a LOT of shots in the movie.
Ichika later meets the new Miku and reports it to her Miku from their School Sekai, which gives insight to what the new Miku could be doing.
AND THEN THE MIKU INTRO SONG FOR THE MOVIE PLAYS.
(This gives some insight to all the Sekai, bands, characters, and much more small details important in the movie cast or in general details and dynamics throughout.)
Anyways after that, the movie shows the Nightcord At 25:00, More More Jump, and Vivid Bad Squad, and Wonderland X Showtime cast. Here is this funny moment I recall from this portion of the movie.
Ichika later preforms a song that gets the attention of someone and the new Miku too who asks to be taught on "how to sing," to people. Also new Miku looks like an iPad baby when being shown stuff which is very cute and funny to me.
Ichika invites Miku to school after to see if she can find people who also make music. I think this shot is funny cause in context of scene, why is the teacher speaking in English for the reading assessment on the board instead of the students who read it in Japanese.
Nightcord later takes new Miku into Empty Sekai where it's just some world building and more interactions the new Miku has overall. We also get to see the new Miku's Sekai for once! (Window Sekai.)
Here we are seen how the bands work together to do stuff, but I care less about that and want to show you how much of a buffoon VBS Miku is with cooking.
Anyhow, they sing a new lyrical piece of the song at the start. This is where everything actually begins now.
There's a random montage of like so many Miku songs too for some reason, I would list all of them, but the movie is the focus here. Shoutout to all of the producers who got some spotlight in the movie.
Anyhow, who's ready to see the second coming of depression and despair alongside a retelling of what Google did to Miku when she became a big search result back then?
And then her Sekai is engulfed in darkness and all of the Mikus in the other Sekai groups are kidnapped making Miku basically gone from the world and causing a big ol' nation-wide power outage from any form of tech. This scene SO MUCH COOLER in video form I wish I could share it but that'd be too much with piracy and whatnot.
Also new Miku basically has a small moment of asthma and is now forever depressed and lone.
Nightcord Luka explains somewhat what happened to the Sekai with rest of Nightcord putting together the reason why there was so much trauma dumping shown to them and how it relates to everything. Then we get another lyrical piece to the unfinished song. (Basically, this is just an altered Nightcord plot from what I can assume but instead of the cast shown it's some new one.)
Then SOMEHOW makes the groups go like "hey we should make some dope music and maybe that will be how we fix everything," then begin to plot and prepare how to do that.
Anyways they all have flyers out and book places to perform in big areas to get attention from those who need to hear the stuff but y'all are here for the MUSIC they got going.
The order below is how it was played out. Songs also got cut out halfway into it only them in the film by the way.
Personally, Fire Dance (song one) and The Light That Dwells Here (song four) are my favorites. The visuals for some like Nightcord's song are SUPER stunning in the film, the MVs below do NOT do them justice.
Also, they all follow a specific motif... wonder what that could be for... hmm.
After all of this, new and depressed Miku seems to be full of whimsy now that the people she has been looking for has now fueled their true emotions, which in turn leads to....
The movie performance for this is amazing I really want to show it like the scene I mentioned last time, but I can't and it just REALLY tempting to show it off.
Anyways the Mikus are all back and Window Sekai Miku thanks everyone for their efforts and whatnot in the new Window Sekai. Oh also, Saki finally got to meet the cat from the start of the movie.
On a closing note, there is after show that is basically a mini concert. Feel free to look up the after show on YouTube or somewhere Social Media related. It is a beautiful way to close off after the film as it I didn't have enough whimsy of knowing nothing about the cast but staying around for the whole well animated and executed don't give up theme illustrated by music conventions and general emotions and whatnot.
Oh yeah, Changing the world. Oh yeah, Singing loudly. Oh yeah, Turning the world. Oh yeah, let's keep singing.
"I was waiting for you!"
