1. Data Collection
Board AI collects minimal data to provide our services. This includes your email for account authentication and any data you explicitly save within the app.
2. Data Usage
Your data is used solely to sync your boards across devices. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Data Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as your account is active. Data is deleted immediately upon account termination.
4. Account Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time via the 'Delete Account' section in your Security settings.
5. Third-Party Services
We do not sell your personal data. We only transfer data to third-party service providers necessary for app functionality. To provide AI features, your prompts are securely transmitted to OpenAI for processing. We use Google Firebase for secure account authentication, cloud storage, and real-time database syncing. All partners are contractually required to maintain the same level of data protection as Board AI.
6. AI and Content
Prompts and data provided to Board AI are used to generate content for your boards. We do not use your private board data to train our artificial intelligence models.
7. Content Safety & Strict Moderation
Board AI maintains a zero-tolerance policy for harmful content. To ensure safety, we implement a multi-layer moderation system:
Real-Time Filtering: Every prompt is scanned before processing. If a prompt is flagged as hateful, violent, or inappropriate, the request is immediately blocked, and no content will be generated.
Non-Generation: Our systems are designed to prevent the creation of harmful material at the source. If our filters deem a request 'bad,' the app will return a blank state or an error rather than processing the data. If a bypass does happen we are not liable and should be informed immediately.
8. Account Security
We implement robust security measures to protect your personal information. This includes enforcing high-complexity password standards. Your credentials are encrypted and managed through Firebase's secure authentication framework.
9. Account Suspension & Deletion
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion and at any time without notice or liability, to permanently ban, suspend, or delete accounts for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to attempts to bypass our safety filters or violations of these terms.
10. Content Safety Policy
To protect our community, Board AI tracks repeated attempts to generate prohibited content. If our safety filters are triggered three times within a single session, a 24-hour lockout is automatically applied to your account. We reserve the right to log these violations to identify patterns of abuse and prevent future misuse of our AI services.
