I am a Boston-based software engineer specialized in online video streaming, computer networks and telecommunications. I am currently a senior solutions architect at Visionular inc. Prior to Visionular, I had worked for video tech and telecom companies such as Brightcove, Pluto TV, Fubo TVConcurrent Technology, Ericsson (now Mediakind), Casa Systems, iDirect, etc.

I received my Ph.D. degree in computer science from George Mason University under supervision of Dr. Robert Simon and Dr. Hakan Aydin. My Ph.D. thesis is on "Performance Management for Energy Harvesting Wireless Sensor Networks". I received the Best Paper Award (1st/190 submissions from 32 countries) from ACM MSWiM 2011, the flagship research conference of ACM SIGSIM.

At Brightcove, I have been following video standards organizations, such as,

- DASH Industry Forum

- MPEG (ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 29 working groups)

- CTA-WAVE

- SVTA (Streaming Video Technology Alliance)
