The Brooklyn Navy Yard aims to support economic activity within the Yard in order to provide economic opportunities to the surrounding local community. In service to this mission, the Albert C. Wiltshire Employment Center (the EC) helps businesses in and around the Yard to hire and retain their workforce and provides local residents access to quality job opportunities.
