BNHA Whump Bang

The BNHA Whump Bang is a fandom event celebrating the hurt and dismemberment of our favourite characters! We're entering our fourth year of running the event (we started in 2021 and then skipped 2022 and 2025), and we're super excited to see what delightful discomforts come about this year!

New for our 2026 year, we are a strictly 18+ event.

We call our event a Bang instead of a Big Bang because of our lower minimum wordcount, but otherwise it follows the same model. Writers submit information about their stories to us mods, and then the mods organize the information onto a website (anonymyzing each story), and then show them to the artists and betas. The artists and betas then submit requests to be paired up with these fics to create art or beta. The mods sort through all the requests and create teams for every fic.

Each team posts their work together in October! We are not an official affiliate of Whumptober™, but we do enjoy supporting the whumpiest month of the year!
