WATER TESTING

Water quality testing is a specialized test that checks a home's water supply for contaminants and pollutants, such as lead, chlorine, and coliform bacteria.  A water test can also reveal chemical imbalances of the pH and hardness. 

• Base water testing is a necessary test to ensure that your water is safe for drinking, bathing, cooking, and other uses and to ensure there are no harmful contaminants.  

• A more comprehensive water analysis test is designed for the homeowner whose drinking water comes from a private well or the city municipal water system. This water testing package is a more comprehensive and detailed version than the basic analysis. 

WELL INSPECTION 

Well inspections are an evaluation of the entire well system including a water analysis which measures (Total Coliform, E. Coli, Bacteria, Nitrate contamination (septic systems, livestock, fertilizers) and Arsenic). by a State Certified laboratory.  B N B Inspections will examine the pump and evaluate the pressure tank and look for mechanical defects, such as: 

Rusting tanks 

Faulty gauges  

Leaking seals 

These kind of issues can cause low water pressure or encourage contaminants or bacteria in the drinking water.

We will evaluate the flowrate with a focus on the pump to ensure that it is working to optimal performance.
