Mr. Akshay Kumar is a highly accomplished academic and LIS professional, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Library and Information Science at Jai Minesh Adivasi University (JMAU), Kota, and as an Academic Counselor at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), Regional Centre, Jodhpur. He possesses a robust academic background, including M.Lib.I.Sc., M.Com (B.F.E), PGDRD, PGDEMA, PGDCA, and ‘O’ Level, RS-CIT & CCC certification and has notably qualified for the UGC/NTA-NET three times. Mr. Kumar’s extensive professional engagement is demonstrated through Life Memberships with key associations like ILA, ASLIP, ALA, JALIS, LPF & LAB. His scholarly contribution is significant, encompassing 20 Research Papers, 8 Edited Book Chapters, 2 Research Papers in Annual Issues and 1 Patent, in addition to co-authoring five competitive examination guidebooks. Furthermore, he actively shapes research discourse as an Editorial Board Member for several journals (IJSSRR, NRJITIS, IJLSR&IT, PRJIT&LS), and promotes academic excellence through active participation in 15 national and international academic events and actively promotes academic excellence as a faculty member on various online teaching and learning platforms.
Dr. Qumar Abbas, is an Deputy Librarian in Government Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College, Ajmer (Rajasthan). He has completed PhD, M.Phil and Master in Library and Information Science & MA (Geography) with addition of CPDL, RSCIT and Library Automation Courses from UGC, NISCAIR, and DELNET along with 21+ years experience in LIS. He is an active academic contributor to the field, having participated in 50 seminars, workshops, and conferences, and has presented or published 20 papers in various National and International Conferences and peer-reviewed Journals. He is also deeply involved in LIS education, sharing his expertise by teaching students of DLIS and BLIS while being associated with the LIS Departments of various universities. He is a dedicated leader in professional organizations, having served as an Organizing Secretary of many Conferences and Workshops. Currently, he holds key advisory roles as Senior Advisor of RTLA and Technical Adviser of ASLIP, while also being the incoming Open Council Member of ILA (2025-28). His extensive past service includes holding the posts of Council Member, Treasurer, Vice President, and President of RTLA, along with serving as Ex. Treasurer of FHSLA and Vice President of RMLA, contributions for which he has been a recipient of many State and National-level awards
Dr. Surender Kumar is currently associated with Sri Karan Narendra Agriculture University, Jobner-Jaipur (Rajasthan), as an Assistant Librarian. He has completed B.L.I.Sc., M.L.I.Sc., and M.Phil. From Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, and earned his Ph.D. in Library and Information Science from Vikram University, Ujjain. He has also qualified the UGC-NET. With over eight years of professional experience, he has served in reputed institutions, including Vikram University, Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh), Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University of Social Sciences, Mhow (Madhya Pradesh), and NBGSM College, Sohna. He has published and presented more than thirty research papers, and his areas of interest include ICT applications, library management, and information retrieval systems. He is a life member of professional associations such as the Indian Library Association (ILA), Association of Agricultural Librarians and Documentalists of India (AALDI), and Haryana Library Association (HLA).
Dr. Seema Saini is an accomplished Librarian at Sant Mohan Singh Khalsa Labana Girls College, Barara (Ambala), Haryana, where she has been serving since 2017. She holds B.L.I.Sc. (Gold Medalist) and M.L.I.Sc. degrees from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra and earned her Ph.D. in Library and Information Science from Baba Mastnath University, Rohtak. She has also qualified the UGC-NET-JRF. Dr. Saini has published over twenty research papers in reputed national and international journals and has presented her work at several conferences. Her research interests include library automation, information retrieval, bibliometric studies, and the impact of digital environments on scholarly communication. She has actively participated in various workshops and training programmes focused on professional development and innovation in library services.
Miss Shefali Goswami is currently working as a School Librarian at G.S.S.S. Muhana, Sanganer, Jaipur. She is also Council Member of Rajasthan Technical Library Association. She has completed M.Com (EAFM), MLIS, NET Exam (LIS) thrice, and Raj SET Exam. She has participated more than 8 International and National conferences of LIS and presented 7 research paper in their Edited Book, Journals / Proceedings / Souvenir & Annuals. She has actively participated in 2 days workshops on ILMS & OAP. She has contributed as an editor in an edited book. In addition to teaching in both online and offline modes as a faculty member, reflecting professional competences and commitment to scholarly work.
