The stator is the stationary part of a rotary system found in BWIG and below the table was dimension sheet.
Table 4.2: Specifications of Stator
Creating Stator:
A drawing of the stator of inner diameter 103 mm and outer diameter 170 mm along with one slots was created as shown fig 4.1.Slots was created along with padded Select the Profile sketch 1 to be used for the Pad, the length is set 140mm and Modify the Pad definition .
Figure 4.1: stator and slot drawing
Figure 4.2: padded to a depth of 140 mm
The Circular Pattern icon was used to created 36 slot instance around the stator as shown fig 4.3. Define the pattern parameters and specify the rotation axis of the pattern .To select circular icon .
Select the Reference element is pad.1
Select Parameters is instance and angular spacing.
Select the Instance(s) field and enter 36
Select the Angular spacing field and enter 10 deg
A drawing of the stator stamping of outer diameter 80mm as shown fig 4.4

Figure 4.4: stator stamping drawing
The Circular Pattern icon was used to created 8 stamping instance around the stator as shown fig 4.5
Select the feature to be patterned sketch 1 from fig.4.4 and Select the Circular Pattern icon.
Define the pattern parameters and specify the rotation axis of the pattern Selecting the face.
Select the Reference element is xy plane
Select Parameters is instance and angular spacing
Select the Instance(s) field and enter 8
Select the Angular spacing field and enter 45deg
Select the layout options and enter radial alignment after is enter ok.
Finally to get Stator Design as shown fig 4.6
