The rotor is a moving component of an electromagnetic system in the electric generator and below the table was dimension sheet.
Table 4.3: Specifications of rotor
Creating Rotor:
A drawing of the rotor of inner diameter 38mm and outer diameter 102.2 mm along with one slots was created as shown fig 4.7.
The Circular Pattern icon was used to created 28 slots instance around the rotor as shown fig 4.8. Select the Profile sketch 1 to be used for the Pad. Select the Pad icon and the length is set140mm.
Modify the Pad definition .afterwards to create slot:
Select the feature to be patterned sketch from fig.4.7
Select the Circular Pattern icon.
Define the pattern parameters and specify the rotation axis of the pattern and Selecting the face.
Select the Reference element is z axis
Select Parameters is instance and angular spacing
Select the Instance(s) field and enter 28
Select the Angular spacing field and enter 12.85deg
Select the layout options and enter radial alignment after is enter ok.
The drawing of the circle radius is 19mm. Select the Profile sketch 13 to be used for the pocket. Select the Pocket icon , the length is set -140mm.

Creating Shaft:
A drawing circle radius 19mm. Select the Profile sketch to be used for the pad. Select the Pad icon, the length is set 220mm. after the to create joint shaft 3mm x 18mm and Select the pad icon, the length is set 2mm as shown fig. 3.2i.The Circular Pattern icon was used to created 8 shaft instance around the rotor end plate as shown fig 4.15
Select the Circular Pattern icon. Define the pattern parameters and specify the rotation axis of the pattern .
Select to object parameter
Select the Reference element is z axis
Select Parameters is instance and angular spacing
Select the Instance(s) field and enter 8
Select the Angular spacing field and enter 45deg
Select the layout options and enter radial alignment after is enter ok.
