The simulation circuit of solar energy system is shown in figure below. Ten 300W panels are connected in parallel to form a 3kW solar plant. The output from the solar plant is connected to a MPPT controlled boost converter, where P&O algorithm is used for MPPT to extract maximum power from the plant. The output from the boost is connected to a load and simulated. The specifications of the solar energy system are given in table

Figure 3.2 shows the curve of voltage across load, which is constant around 48V. and the power consumed by load is shown in figure 3.3, which is constant around 3kW.
