Mission and Vision

Mission

It is the mission of Bluestone Middle School's Counseling Department to provide a comprehensive school counseling program that offers social, emotional, and academic support for all students, coupled with an integration of career awareness and exploration, so as to utilize a holistic approach that provides students necessary opportunities to grow as successful learners and citizens.

Vision

It is the vision of Bluestone Middle School's Counseling Department that, through the collaborative efforts of school, home, and community, we provide students with the tools they need to become responsible and productive citizens in the 21st century. Students, with the support of the counseling department and each of these stakeholders, will make strides towards becoming college and/or career ready as they acquire the personal, social, emotional, and academic skills needed to do so.
