We are open and operating under our COVID-19 safety plan. Upon entry, ALL patrons will be required to sanitise, sign in using the Service NSW QR app and exercise social distancing measures.

Learn to Swim, Squad Training & Aqua Fitness classes have all resumed. Please refer to the relevant pages on our website for information and times etc.

There are NO BOOKINGS required for entry to the pool or waterslide. Limited numbers are permitted on the waterslide and patrons are served on a first in first served basis.

If you feel unwell, have been in a ‘hot spot’ or in contact with someone who has had or is suspected to have COVID-19 please do not attend the facility.

About the pool

Ballina Memorial Pool and Waterslides is located along the beautiful Richmond River, at the eastern end of River Street in Ballina NSW.

The complex consists of a two (2) swimming pools, a 25m semi-enclosed pool and a FINA compliant eight (8) lane 50m pool as well as a splash park for children and the Waterslide Park located within the pool complex. The complex also offers undercover seating areas with BBQ facilities available.

The outdoor 50m swimming pool is heated to approximately 27 degrees (max. in cooler months) while the semi-enclosed 25m swimming pool is heated to approximately 32 degrees (max. in cooler months), making it perfect for Learn to Swim and Water Rehabilitation activities. Wheelchair access ramps are available within the complex to enable easy access to the swimming pools and pool grounds.

Amenities include both women’s and men’s change rooms which are located onsite and contain toilets and heated shower facilities. Wheelchair access and parent friendly toilet/shower amenities are also available.

The Kiosk located at the complex entry includes a canteen to provide patrons with great local coffee, fresh sandwiches and hot food as well as your general canteen items. BBQ facilities are also available on-site for patrons use.
