Non-BEMANI rhythm game characters and non-BEMANI characters in general. This includes characters like V-Tubers and Vocaloids that have collaborated with BEMANI—they must be originally BEMANI characters.
Original characters
Incestuous ships, meaning pairing family members together romantically, including adoptive family. (e.g. Rio × Kyoka, Tart × Toffee)
Underaged character × adult character (e.g. teacher/college student × high school student or younger)
NL/HL (straight ships) and BL (male × male ships), even if just minor. Male characters are allowed as minor characters as long as no romantic implications between them and any other characters are shown.
Male characters genderbent into girls
Gijinkas (humanized/personified versions) of songs, since they are not actual official BEMANI characters. However, gijinkas of existing non-human characters are OK
Real people, such as BEMANI staff, artists, or composers
Animated GIFs (they won't work in PDF files, i checked for myself :( )
All artworks must be in A5 size (recommended 2039*2893 pixels (350dpi), can be rotated horizontally*) and in RGB color space.
*Note that if your artwork is orientated horizontally, it will be rotated vertically in the book itself.
Maximum 4 pages per author. If you feel you need more, such as for a manga/comic, please inform the organizer.
Submit your finished work via email or Discord DM in either PNG or PSD format, and please add your name somewhere in the filename. Feel free to use cloud/file transfer services like Google Drive if your files are too big and/or want to bundle them.
As mentioned above, if you're making a manga/comic, you may exceed the 4 page limit within reason.
If you are making a manga/comic with text, I, the organizer, with assistance from a native speaker, will translate it into Japanese so that Japanese audiences can enjoy it too (there will be an English and Japanese copy of the book). In this case, it must be submitted in PSD format with separate layers.
If and only if you are fluent in Japanese, you may take on the task of translating it yourself—if you'd like it to be proofread, just let me, the organizer, know.
