Bennett Hardy, Ph.D.

I received my Ph.D. in the labs of Drs. Larissa Bailey and Chris Funk in the Graduate Degree Program in Ecology at Colorado State University. My dissertation research quantified the vulnerability of amphibian populations to disease. I previously received my M.S. in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in the lab of Dr. Emily Latch where I used conservation genomic methods to reveal patterns of genetic diversity and structure of cascades frogs to inform management decisions in California. I also earned my B.S. in Wildlife Management and Conservation from Humboldt State University, located on the beautiful northern California coast. I am a #FirstGen student, and proudly spent 2 years at Mt. San Antonio Community College prior to transferring to HSU.  I grew up in Southern California and cherish the cultural and natural diversity the region offers. In my free time my interests include listening to and playing music, watching and playing ice hockey, amateur astronomy, railroad history, international travel, and perfecting my salsa recipes.
