Dear BME Families,
As we approach the end of the first six weeks , we are concluding our beginning-of-the-year assessments and preparing for upcoming parent conferences. Our designated parent conference day is September 30th, starting at 1:15 PM. Teachers will be sending out sign-up sheets next week, so please make sure to schedule either a phone or face-to-face meeting.
Please note that September 23rd is a staff development day, and report cards will be distributed on September 26th. Kindly check your child's folder for this important document.
The second six weeks will begin on September 24th, and with it, guided reading will commence. Students in grades K-2 will start bringing books home to read each night. We encourage you to read with your child every evening to support their learning.
Thank you for your continued support. We value your feedback and maintain an open-door policy at all times.
Warm regards,
Glenell Bankhead
Campus Principal

**Arrival Update** starts at 7:30 A.M.
For those choosing to drive through the front loop for drop-off, please wait until you reach one of the nine designated drop-off stations before unloading your child. Unloading before reaching these stations can cause traffic congestion as parents attempt to maneuver around other vehicles. Additionally, early unloading can be dangerous, especially with childcare parents crossing the street.
If you prefer to walk your child to the door, we ask that you park in the tennis parking lot. If you need to visit the front office, you may park in the front lot. Handicap parking spaces are also available for those with disabilities. However, we recommend that all families use the car drop-off line to ensure a smooth and safe arrival process.
Thank you for your cooperation.
