Researchers, practitioners, policymakers, youth innovators and students who wish to contribute to the Conference on Weather, Climate Services & Anticipatory Action 2026 are invited to submit an abstract. To apply, participants are requested to prepare an abstract of 200–300 words that clearly outlines the purpose of the study or initiative, the problem being addressed, the methodology applied (quantitative, qualitative, or mixed) and the key findings or expected outcomes. The abstract should also briefly highlight its practical, policy, or operational relevance particularly how it contributes to strengthening early warning systems, climate services, disaster risk management or anticipatory action.
The abstract must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx) using the following formatting specifications:
Font: Times New Roman
Font size: 12
Line spacing: 1.5
Clear title of the paper
Full name(s) of author(s)
Institutional affiliation, email address and contact number
The file should be named using the format: LeadAuthorLastName_Abstract_2026.docx

All abstracts will undergo technical review by the Conference Scientific Committee. Authors will be informed of the review outcome via email. Selected contributors will be invited to present their work in an oral session during the conference.
