Lesley Green-Rennis
Lesley Green-Rennis is a tenured full professor and chair of the Health Education Department at the City University of New York-Borough of Manhattan Community College. Professor Green-Rennis’ expertise is in public health history, health disparities, and social determinants of health.
Sara Crosby
Sara Crosby is the Director of the BMCC Learning Academy at Borough of Manhattan Community College (CUNY) in New York, NY. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, she holds a Master of Fine Arts in Nonfiction Writing from The New School and has worked for CUNY since 2002.
Gloria McNamara
Gloria McNamara is a tenured full professor and deputy chair of the Health Education Department at the City University of New York-Borough of Manhattan Community College. Professor McNamara is a registered dietitian and New York State licensed nutritionist. She is currently doing pedagocal research.
Lisa Grace
Lisa Grace is a tenured full professor and Deputy Chair of the Health Education Department at the City University of New York-Borough of Manhattan Community College. Professor Grace is a Master Certified Health Education specialist. Her research interests include adolescent and women health, improving health literacy and health communication in disadvantage populations.
Maharanni Singh
Maharanni Singh is the Program Coordinator of the Public Health Academy. She holds a B.S. in Public Health and has worked on numerous public health and social science research projects. Her background is in healthcare, law, public health, and psychology.
Mohammad Azhar
Dr. Azhar is a tenured full Professor of Computer Information Systems at CUNY BMCC. Dr. Azhar’s current research includes human-robot collaboration for assistive robotics, cybersecurity education, and educational robotics.
Anuradha Srivastava
Anuradha Srivastava is an Associate Professor at Queensborough Community College and founder director of the A.S. Public Health program. She is also the founding faculty advisor of Women in Science Club at the campus.
Punita Bhansali
Punita Bhansali is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences & Geology and the Director of the Medical Assistant A.A.S. Degree Program at Queensborough Community College (QCC). A neurobiologist by training, while at CUNY, Punita developed a huge interest in healthcare and creating opportunities for students that promote academic success and professional development.
