Workshops

The 2024 BMC will have workshops on the following subjects. Each workshop will have 30 minute talks from invited speakers, and shorter contributed talks from volunteer speakers. Information about applying to give a contributed talk is at the bottom of this page.

• Dynamical Systems and Ergodic Theory

• Geometry and Topology

• Logic

• Number Theory

• Numerical Analysis

• Semigroups

Each workshop will include sessions for a limited number of participants to give very short contributed talks. These slots are principally intended for PhD students or early career researchers, but are open to everyone. 

The registration form includes the option to request to give one of these short talks. However, in case potential participants need assurance that they are giving one of these talks prior to registration, you may also express interest using the form below. No decisions will be made on these talks until 1st February (one month before the end of the early bird registration rate).

Please note that giving a contributed talk does not entitle the participant to reimbursement of any registration fees or expenses.
