Leading academician & scientists of the country established the Indian Talent Olympiad in 2012. The objective is to identify and nurture student talent leading to improved academic performance. It helps to assess the knowledge, reasoning ability and level of understanding, of students from Class 1 to Class 10 across India. Students are asked to spell different words as per their age group. The difficulty level increases for students studying in higher classes. The questions are based on word analysis, general knowledge and phonetics. It tests their existing knowledge of words by emphasizing on phrases, idioms, etc.

The newly-introduced Olympiad exam is for the students of Kindergarten. The students are given a copy-writing test. They have to copy the same in cursive or simple letters. The answer sheets are judged on spacing, size, shape, slant and neatness. The best answer sheets are awarded.

Apart from this, class-wise top three medals (Gold, Silver and Bronze) and awards will only be given if the student count is more than or equal to 10 in each class per subject. Gold medal is only awarded if the student count is between 5 and 9 per class per subject.

The Olympiad exams are conducted at national and international level for State boards, International boards including CBSE, ICSE boards for classes 1 to 10. Students have to refer to their specific board patterns. Besides, they can also refer to the Olympiad books provided by Indian Talent Olympiad as well as the previous years' question papers. All the eligible students must go through the Indian Talent Olympiad Syllabus for detailed information regarding the same.

The Olympiad exam duration is 65 minutes. There will be two sections in each question paper for every class. The ITO will be conducted in both offline and online modes. All the interested students must go through the ITO 2022 exam pattern to familiarise themselves with the Olympiad exam and get an insight into the type of questions asked in the Olympiad exam 2022-23.

Students can contact their respective schools in order to fill the Indian Talent Olympiad 2022-23 registration form. They will need to submit the application fee to complete the ITO Application process.

The ITO Result 2022-23 will be released in February/March 2023. The ITO 2022-23 result will be announced on the official website. Students will be able to check their results by entering their respective roll numbers.
