The core principle of our application is that your data belongs to you. We operate as a 100% offline application. We do not collect, store, or share any personal information.
2. Face Data Policy (Collection, Usage, and Retention) To provide the core functionality of blurring faces in your videos and photos, this application uses Apple's Vision Framework and CoreML technologies to detect facial features.
In compliance with Apple's specific requirements, we declare the following regarding Face Data:
What we collect: We do not "collect" face data for storage, profiling, or identification. The app temporarily accesses facial landmarks and coordinates solely to identify the region of the image or video frame where a face is located.
How we use it: The facial data is used exclusively to generate a "blur" or "pixelate" mask over the detected face. This allows users to anonymize individuals in their media.
Data Retention: Face data is transient. It is processed in real-time in the device's volatile memory (RAM) and is immediately discarded after the blur effect is rendered for a specific frame. We do not store, save, or retain face data on the device or on any server.
Data Sharing: We do not share face data with any third parties, advertisers, or analytics providers. The data never leaves your device.
3. Data Collection and Usage Face Blur - Photo & Video does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data, usage data, or metadata on external servers.
No Account Required: You do not need to create an account to use the application.
No Cloud Storage: All photos and videos processed by the app remain on your device. We do not have access to your content.
4. Device Permissions To function, the application requires access to specific features on your device. This access is strictly local:
Photo Library & Camera: We request access to your photo library and/or camera to allow you to select the specific photos or videos you wish to edit. This access is only used to load the media into the editing view and save the resulting blurred video/photo back to your library.
5. Third-Party Sharing Since we do not collect data, we do not share data with any third parties. The app contains no third-party tracking SDKs or analytics tools that track user behavior.
6. Children’s Privacy Our application does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13. As the app functions offline and collects no data, it is safe for users of all ages.
