Austin Annas, DPT

Austin Annas is a native of Connelly Springs, NC. He is a well-rounded therapist specializing in the fields of sports/orthopedics and neurological conditions such as benign peroxisomal positional vertigo and concussion.

He strives to improve the quality of life in all aspects for each patient he interacts with, giving the best patient experience, and fulfilling the needs of the surrounding community.

Gregory Antal

Greg is an Orthopedic Certified Specialist and has worked with both orthopedic and neurologic patients during his clinical practice. He enjoys treating orthopedic and sports related injuries no matter the age. He has experience with treating vestibular disorders and has interest in treating concussion related injuries. He lives in Morganton, NC, and enjoys being outdoors and living an active lifestyle.

Heidi Austin, PTA

Heidi Austin, a native of Morganton, has worked as a physical therapist assistant for 23 years in many settings however has found a passion in outpatient therapy. Heidi started and heads our Stroke Survivor Support Group.

Heidi enjoys being a therapist because of the great teamwork and knowing she is making a difference is someone’s life.

Denise Clifton, OTR/L

Denise is a native of St. Louis, MO. She brings many years of experience specializing in the fields of upper extremity orthopedics, geriatrics and women’s pelvic health therapy.

She provides a holistic approach to all her patients with the promotion of health and prevention in order to improve the quality of life in self-care, work and leisure activities.

Kristen Cline, SLP

Kristen Cline is a speech-language pathologist specializing in communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in patients with stroke, progressive neurological diseases, head and neck cancers, and dementia. She is Board Certified in treating Swallowing and Swallowing Disorders and has years of experience in a variety of settings.

She strives to improve her patient’s swallowing, language and cognitive function in order to meet their goals.

David Ervin, PT

David Ervin was born and raised in Morganton, NC. He has worked as a physical therapist seeing a variety of patient populations in many settings; however, he has a passion for geriatrics.

He has a wide range of clinical interests and enjoys helping his patients achieve their goals.

Adrienne Fletcher, OT

Adrienne Fletcher is a native of Shelby, NC. She is a well-rounded occupational therapist with experience working with a wide range of populations including but not limited to neurological conditions, orthopedics, pediatrics and acute care.

She is determined to encourage independence, provide quality of care, and the best patient experience while fulfilling the needs of the surrounding community.

Andrew Johnson, DPT

Andrew Johnson is a native of Valdese, NC. He treats a variety of conditions, including orthopedics, amputees and geriatrics as well as neurologic conditions such as benign positional vertigo, concussion and other vestibular disorders.

His mission is to provide individualized patient-centered care to promote overall improved quality of life.

Pam Lowdermilk, PTA

Pam Lowdermilk is a native of Valdese, NC. She has experience working in a variety of settings and with a variety of patient populations. She specializes in chronic pain, geriatrics, orthopedics, neurological conditions such as CVAs and balance problems.

She uses her knowledge to help clients help themselves so they can reach their maximum level of function at home and in the community.

Jay Mazaleski, PT

Jay Mazaleski grew up in Florida but moved to Morganton, NC, in 1991 where he has worked as a physical therapist. Jay has extensive experience in treating patients with orthopedic and neurological problems. He has a certification in LSVT Big that helps patients with Parkinson’s Disease.

Jay wants to improve his patients’ function and return to their normal activity.

Ethan Michael, PTA

Ethan Michael is a native of Morganton, NC. He has established the ability to treat a wide variety of diagnoses due his experience in subacute rehab, acute rehab and outpatient therapy.

His goal is to provide compassionate care and personalized treatment for each patient.

Shea Rhoney

Shea graduated from University of South Carolina physical therapy program in 2019. She grew up in Florida and played soccer at Florida Gulf Coast University, which sparked her interest in orthopedics and sports related injuries. She has a passion for anatomy, learning and treating patients. She holds a certification in Strength and Conditioning. When not working, you can find her exploring the outdoors.

Denise Rust, SLP

Denise Rust is a native from Morganton, NC. She sees a variety of patient populations including patients with dysphagia, voice disorders, and cognitive disorders. She is specially trained in LSVT Loud that helps patients with Parkinson’s Disease and other voice disorders.

Denise strives to improve her patient’s quality of life with improvement in speech, language and swallowing function.

Jan Stephanides, OT

Jan has been working in various fields of occupational therapy since earning her Masters of Sciense in Occupational Therapy more than 30 years ago. She specializes in driving rehabilitation and is a certified driving instructor earning the national certification of Certified Driving Rehabilitation Specialist (CDRS).

She works with all age groups (pre-driving through aged drivers with all abilities. She is eager to explore driving options for her clients.
