Lock Camera was built as a Free/Commercial app intended for use "as is." Our primary goal is to provide a powerful tool without compromising your personal data.

We do NOT collect, store, or share any personal information. The App is designed to operate locally on your device to ensure maximum privacy.

a. Camera and Audio Data

To perform its core function of recording videos, the App requires access to your camera and microphone.

• Local Processing: All recording happens entirely on your device.

• No Cloud Uploads: We never upload your recordings to our servers or third-party services. We have zero access to your content.

• Storage: Files are saved directly to your device’s internal storage or SD card.

b. Live Streaming

If you utilize the Live Streaming feature, the stream is transmitted over your local Wi-Fi network only. We do not host, relay, or broadcast these streams over the internet unless you manually configure your network to do so.

c. Usage Data

We value a clean user experience. We do not use third-party analytics or tracking tools (like Google Analytics or Firebase) to monitor your behavior.

2. Device Permissions

To provide its features, the App requires the following permissions:

• Camera: To record video.

• Microphone: To record audio along with the video.

• Storage (Read/Write): To save recorded videos to your gallery or a specific folder.

• Overlay Permission: To allow the app to show a small preview or record while you are using other applications.

• Battery Optimization: To ensure the background recording service is not interrupted by the Android system's power management.

3. Local Data Security

Because your data stays on your device, your security is in your hands. We recommend:

1. Using the "Hide Video from Gallery" feature within the App.

2. Ensuring your device is protected by a strong PIN, Pattern, or Biometrics.

4. Children’s Privacy

Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13. Because we do not collect any data at all, our privacy-first approach protects all users regardless of age.

5. Third-Party Links

The App may contain links to external sites, such as our Play Store developer page. We do not operate these external sites and encourage you to review their specific privacy policies before interacting with them.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
