Our mission:
1. Stewardship and education for the public lands and waters on Blue Mountain Lake, the Eckford Chain, and the surrounding Forest Preserve lands in Blue Mountain Lake, Town of Indian Lake, in Hamilton County, New York.
2. Education to the public about Leave No Trace camping and use of sensitive natural areas designed for overnight- and day-use on Blue Mountain Lake and the Eckford Chain.
3. Education to the public about water quality, invasive species, and ecology.
4. Education to the public online, through printed materials, and collaborations with other organizations.
5. Overall stewardship, management, and environmental protection of Blue Mountain Lake and the Eckford Chain.
