Dear Friends,

Thank you all so much for joining us for our earlier Zoom call on short notice! During the call, we discussed efforts to support Yuriy, who faces deportation despite having a cancellation of removal order, and reviewed the media coverage of his protest. We explored various advocacy strategies including political outreach to senators, fundraising initiatives, and organizing phone banking efforts to raise awareness about Yuriy's case. To support our next step action items, here are the phone banking scripts, the one-pager about Yuriy, and the call log sheets. We are also including contact information and instructions for contacting Senators Schumer and Gillibrand's offices, Rep. Stefanik, as well as other state and local officials in the Buffalo area (close to the area in which Yuriy is being held).
