ABOUT JENNA: THE FOUNDER OF BCP
Growing up, Jenna’s world was defined by the arts. Painting, filmmaking, dance, theater—she didn't just pick a favorite; she wanted to master them all. For Jenna, art was about more than just personal expression; it was about the freedom to explore her curiosities and find a community of like-minded creators who felt just as captivated as she did.
Jenna’s time in a high school arts program provided her first real glimpse into the power of a creative collective—a communal space where inspiring creators worked side-by-side. It was a beautiful concept that she carried with her as her career evolved. Introducing herself, often sparked bittersweet conversations with people she met. Time and time again, she encountered those who "used to do" art but had turned away from it in pursuit of financial stability or no longer had the time.
These conversations led Jenna to reflect on the immense creative potential the world was losing. Driven to make a change, she became an advocate for the idea that artistic passion and professional stability can—and should—coexist. Jenna believes that integrating art into daily practice is essential for human potential, contributing to overall wellbeing, happiness, and a vital sense of community. She champions a sustainable balance between work and play, proving that with intentionality, creativity can remain a lifelong pursuit.
The Blue Chatter Project was born at an Italian breakfast table during the height of the pandemic—a time when the world felt on pause and her own days were growing dim, without the space to create. Jenna confessed to her grandparents that she was struggling to find time for her storyboards and screenwriting, feeling the weight of a life without creative output. Her grandfather, a man who always prioritized his time on the soccer field regardless of his schedule, offered a simple, transformative truth: "One can always have time to do something, if you make time for it." At that exact moment, a Blue Jay landed on the feeder outside the kitchen window, a vibrant flash of life that cemented a connection between that sapphire bird and the daily pursuit of artistic happiness. That spark of hope evolved into our mission. Jenna founded this collective to help other artists honor that same commitment—to provide the community and resources needed to "chip away" at their craft every day and keep their creative light burning bright.
Driven by the philosophy that the arts require both attention and a delicate balance, the project empowers individuals to take agency over their creative paths. It is more than a collective; it is a commitment to keeping the world’s artistic heartbeat alive, ensuring that the beauty and expression Jenna’s grandfather cherished continue to thrive for generations to come.
The Blue Chatter Project is a movement dedicated to promoting, fostering, and sustaining the arts by reviving an individual’s loss of making art in their everyday life. We believe that reclaiming these artistic traditions is essential to our collective wellbeing and happiness, proving the transformative power that creativity holds over the human spirit. It is time to bridge the gap between imagination and action, transforming magical fantasies into tangible realities. The momentum is building—it’s time to get moving and turn visionary dreams into a living, breathing legacy.
