Effect of blueberry supplementation on vascular NADPH oxidases

Jessica Bigley, Washington University in St. Louis

Jessica Bigley is a junior at Washington University in St. Louis, studying Chemistry with a Biochemistry Focus and Biology on the Neuroscience Track. She is an experienced researcher having conducted research in various labs across the country and given presentations at three different universities. Jessica was a recipient of the SPUR Award in 2018, which funded her research at University of Utah and a recipient of the BioSURF Award in 2019, which allowed her to spend the summer working on her independent project at Washington University. In addition to research, Jessica enjoys serving others via her position as a Chemistry Residential Peer Mentor at WashU, through her volunteer work, and by serving as a Peer Health Educator on campus. Jessica was awarded membership to the Mortar Board Senior Honor Society this April, which serves as a testament to her exemplary scholarship, leadership, and service in the society as a whole. As a dedicated young scholar, Jessica is motivated by her love for science and how it can be used to benefit the common good.
