...It's possible to get out into the country, feel the sun on your face, the wind at your back, and fresh air in your lungs.

And never go back. And so, this is our farm and our home.

Returning to our roots in our little farmhouse on its original homesteading foundations.

We offer farm fresh eggs, seasonal produce, flowers & natural beauty care,

in the Lone Pine Community, near Didsbury, Alberta.

Our philosophy is to be gentle and kind to the environment,

giving it what it deserves, and in return reaping the rewards of the earth.

We are Jordan and Elfi Rose - the energy behind our little, family run farm. Our endeavours are based in the black earth of the prairie, with a natural approach, using healthy, pesticide-free methods.

We sell seasonal, farm fresh, wholesome ingredients, beautiful blossoms, and hand crafted, herb inspired personal care products.

We may seem an unlikely pair, Calgary born and a West Coast native, but when we found our farm - a homestead from 1901 - we knew it felt right, to be here, together. We left the city and never looked back - so happy to have our hands in the earth (when the ground isn't frozen), with our feathered and furry critters nearby - tucked into the history of our Canadian Heritage and inspired by the pioneers of the Wild West.

Eggs, and Seasonal Fruits and Vegetables

Eggs are available year-round, with greater abundance in warmer weather. Fruits and vegetables are available seasonally during late Spring, and Summer.

Flowers

Fresh blooms for any occasion, by the stem, bunch, bouquet, and bucket. Available Late Spring, Summer and Early Autumn.

Personal Care Products

Soaps, salves, creams, oils, salts... only real ingredients, with our cold, dry environment in mind, for happy, healthy skin, created on-site, year-round.

Early: Asparagus, Radish, Spinach, Garlic Scapes, Strawberries, Elder Flower, Beets, Chard, Kale

Mid-Season: Raspberries and other Berries, Tomatoes, Kohlrabi, Peas, Green Beans, Carrots, Turnip, Herbs, Edible Flowers

Late: Apples, Pumpkin, Squash, Potatoes, Garlic, Shallots

Flowers, grown using organic practices

Earlier: Anemone, Ranunculus, Iceland Poppy, Peony

Mid-Season: Dahlias, Larkspur, Zinnia, Snapdragon, Strawflower, Amaranth, Poppies, Sweet Peas, Carnations, Cosmos, Scabiosa, Lace Flower, Love in a Mist, Bells of Ireland, Fillers, Vines, Etc.

Later: Sunflowers, Calendula, Dried Flowers

All the handmade products we make at Blue Moon Farm are made with 100% pure, natural ingredients, because what else would you want on your skin? We attempt to source Canadian ingredients and raw materials as often as possible. When the percentage is high, we note it. Where we can we try to bolster our product’s goodness with properties from nature’s plants. Essential oils are used exclusively for scent and their applicable benefits. Products with added herbal or botanical components are denoted with a Clean+Simple Herbals tag, just to let you know it’s extra special!
