Hey, do you have a preferred guide to setup blue iris alerts/or triggers to activate lights? I Just got all my light switches installed and would like to start doing that. Lets me know if you have any tips! Thanks!

While searching for a proper fix- I found your post. The problem I found, is when running blue iris as a service. Anytime the server reboots, as blue iris launches it will bind the IPV4 for the actual network adapter, NOT the IPV4 of the zero tier virtual adapter.

This seems to only be a problem if you are running blue iris as a service. I have a feeling that the Blue Iris service just launches before the Zerotier service is up and running, in turn forcing the only option for HTTP out to be your actual IPV4

I currently have RLN8-410 with 7 RLC-410 and one RLC-423. My RLC-423 can be seen on my LAN with the same IP address as my NVR but just different port. How can I update my other cameras to be seen on my lan so I can connect them to Blue Iris too.

(blue Iris is quicker to connect on my phone then the app)

I am using BlueIris as well. Using the RESTful cmds to switch an entry way light on when motion is detected by cameras watching the front area and vehicles (we have a lot of vehicle theft/burglary).

The biggest problem I have is that when the light is switched on, I would like it to also be switched off after say 10 minutes. If you use the blueiris web integration action when trigger is reset, it turns off the light as soon as motion detection stops.

Navigate to the download tab and click on Download V5, which downloads blueiris.exe. From here, double-click blueiris.exe to start the installation process, which launches the setup wizard.

This next part is a little tricky. Hold down the SETUP button on the Wyze Cam v3 while plugging in the USB cable to connect the Wzye Cam v3 to the outlet. Continue to hold the SETUP button. The camera light turns purple, then blue. Once the light is blue, release the SETUP button. Wait 3-4 minutes.

OK guys I finally got my Ipad Pro 12.9 working with action tiles in full screen with BlueIris. Looks great but there are a few bugs that still need to be worked out. Terry I know there are a lot of priorities with Actiontiles however getting blueiris working without the constant nagging (its very random) of a user name and password would be a great bug fix. I have already removed authentication from LAN only as seen in the photo below. I am running actiontiles in FULL SCREEN in safari. A lot of people have apple products and Blueiris and I think it is worth moving these bug fixes to the top of the list. I am also an Android snob but apple products look so much nicer on the wall :) Please feel free to reach out to me if you need access to my servers. Thanks again Terry to you and your team for all your hard work.

Mase - working in IT myself I relate to your frustration with all the folks saying just disable security, its your lan, it'll be fine. I like what youve done with the workaround but cant seem to get this going myself regardless of browser. Ive created the shortcut in AT and set it to open in the existing window using the line you provided. I have blue iris installed on the device and if i bring up the panel in FF, Chrome, or Fully Kiosk when i click the link from the panel it just takes me into panel settings or refreshes the panel. It does not launch the blue iris app - have there been any recent changes that prevent this? I used an apk editor to view the manifest and it looks to be the same but im stuck here. Let me know your thoughts.

Its not working for me either. Followed your steps exactly, trying in FF, Chrome and samsungs browser(didnt try fully since its not on my phone and blue iris isnt installed on my fire tablet) but when I try it in any of the browsers, when I click the shortcut in action tiles, it asks me what app I want to open, but BI is not one of them :(.

Thanks for responding. I am using the blue iris version 2.0.50. I am using a note 8 trying to get it to load, running Android 7.1.1. All the browsers I've tried have not worked so far, popup enabled. I went ahead and installed fully on my phone to try it as well, and still no go. Using Dex does show the intent is the same.

Just to throw this out there, I tried with other apps, snapchat and harmony, and they didn't work either.

This format does not work currently correct? Due to browsers not liking the User/Pass @ server format? Is there a way to create a stream in blue iris that action tiles can see? Or is the best integration a link to Blue Iris as shown above?

If you're running DHCP you're doing it wrong. Cameras should be static and the NVR (blue iris) should be static. If you want to keep cameras with DHCP then you need to set your DHCP server to reserve those addresses so they never change.

It did it again, twice this week the software changed the ip configured in blue iris to that of the repeater/switch that they are attached too. How can this code exsist for the software to detect an ip and change the camera configuration in blue iris on it's own but software no one knows about it..... really odd

Iris Horticultural Tips

Iris spuria, or blue flag, is a species of the genus Iris, part of the subgenus Limniris and the series Spuriae. It is a rhizomatous perennial plant, from Europe, Asia and Africa. It has purple or lilac flowers, and slender, elongated leaves. It is widely cultivated as an ornamental plant in temperate regions and hybridized for use in the garden. It has several subspecies; Iris spuria subsp. carthaliniae (Achv. & Mirzoeva) B.Mathew, Iris spuria subsp. demetrii (Achv. & Mirzoeva) B.Mathew, Iris spuria subsp. maritima (Dykes) P.Fourn. and Iris spuria subsp. musulmanica (Fomin) Takht. It used to have 3 other subspecies, which have now been re-classified as separate species; Iris spuria subsp. halophila (now Iris halophila), Iris spuria ssp. sogdiana (now Iris halophile subsp. sogdiana) and Iris spuria subsp. notha (now Iris notha). It has many common names including 'blue iris', 'spurious iris' and 'bastard iris'.

In July 2014, eight Irises from the Limniris section (Iris crocea, Iris ensata, Iris orientalis, Iris pseudacorus, Iris setosa, Iris sibirica with its cultivars 'Supernatural' and 'Whiskey White', Iris spuria and Iris versicolor) were studied to find 12 chemical compounds (flavonoids, phenols, quinones, tannins, saponins, cardiac glycosides, terpenoids, alkaloids, steroids, glycosides and proteins.[33]

Another is 'seashore iris',[25][47][48] but this probably applies to Iris spuria subsp. maritima. Also 'salt iris',[46] and 'salt marsh iris',[45] but this applies to Iris halophila (formerly a subspecies).

On 4 November 1876, John Gilbert Baker described the Iris, in The Gardeners' Chronicle on page 583.[7]An illustration of the iris was published in 1981, in Grey-Wilson and Mathew, Bulbs plate 28. It was then published in 1982, by P.J. Redoute, Liles and related flowers 183.[23]

Like many other irises, most parts of the plant are poisonous (rhizome and leaves), and can cause stomach pains and vomiting if mistakenly ingested. Handling the plant may cause skin irritation or an allergic reaction.[40]

Two members of the iris family, one large, one small, Iris versicolor is a long-lived perennial with large purple flowers; Sisyrinchium montanum is short-lived, but readily self-seeds. Iris versicolor ranges from Maine west to Nebraska, south to Arkansas; Sisyrinchium montanum is common from Maine south to Virginia.

Concomitantly, a search for previously seen sweeps of strict blue-eyed grass (Sisyrinchium montanum) has been disappointing. There are a few plants, but not the usual saturation like that described by Mrs. William Starr Dana in 1894:

In Maine the iris family contains a small parcel of representatives. Three species of the genus Iris are recognizably iris-like, simpler-looking forms of the old-fashioned garden irises. The other iris genus is Sisyrinchium with four species and two varieties, all these not immediately recognizable as iris flowers.

Blue iris (or blue flag) blooms exuberantly in early June, the flowers lasting sometimes throughout the month. There are usually several flower stalks per plant, with the buds and blossoms (opening one at a time) held just above the sword-like leaves.

Both blue iris and blue-eyed grass possess markings on their petals and sepals called nectar guides. These striations and veinings are dark blue to deep purple, colors irresistible to bees and wasps of the Hymenoptera family. Not surprisingly blue iris and blue-eyed grass are pollinated by bumblebees (Bombus spp.); by mason bees (Osmia spp.), sweat bees (Halictidae), and digger bees (Anthophorini spp.); and by syrphid flies (Syrphidae). 2351a5e196
