Roblox Removes Community Role Creation Fees

Roblox has officially removed the 25 Robux fee previously required to create Community (formerly Group) roles.

The change was announced through the Roblox Developer Forum as part of Roblox’s expanding Communities system, which introduces improved moderation and management features for group owners and developers.

Community owners and authorized administrators can now create roles completely free of charge. Roblox is also introducing support for assigning multiple roles to individual members, allowing for more advanced permission systems and flexible group organization.

Rollout Status
