Overview
Each child is exposed to an immersive environment that allows them to have a hands-on understanding of the world around them. In the classroom and outside the classroom our students learn how they fit in the world and how to use the tools they are given .
Our Ecole Maternelle serves learners from the petite, Moyenne, and Grande section. Each child experiences an immersive education in a classroom that allows the children to learn to work in a prepared environment that addresses the need for sensory experiences, practical life skills, motor refinement and oral language development. Our prepared environment offers children activities in Practical Life Skills, Mathematics, Language, Sensorial , Art and Cultural Areas. This environment caters to ages 3 to 6 years old.
Practical Life Skills
At a young age it's important to establish life skills such as tidiness, organization, and lending a helping hand. Ages 3 to 6 start to learn these skills by putting away learning materials, Organizing their toys after playtime, and helping each other set up and clean up for nap time.
Mathematics
As a part of basic introduction to academic mathematical learning, children will begin to learn to numbers, counting and basic addition
Language
As a bilingual school, we hold communication at a high standard in any language. Children best absorb communication skills early, they will be exposed to English and French with everything interaction as they begin to build their basic vocabulary.
Sensory
True understanding comes from immersion in your education. Learning in a way that uses all senses ensures all children are giving all the tools necessary for understanding including sight, touch, and sounds
Art and Culture
Creativity is a major component in problem-solving and critical thinking. By learning art appreciation and culture history children will learn how to find unique solutions to problems as well as learn how problems were solved in the past to serve society and culture and how it applies today.
To nurture and inspire the future leaders of tomorrow, it's important children understand the how the things they learn in the classroom apply to real life, learning teamwork in their classroom community teaches them how their community works. Children will be exposed to real world experiences such as:
The life cycle through the life of a caterpillar to a butterfly
Field trips to see classroom lessons in action
Hygiene and keeping a clean environment
Throughout the Year we have various events that teach our children about community, history, and culture.
Culture day

Mother's Day
Father's Day
Mardi Gras
Martin Luther King Day
We believe it's important for children to recognize and be recognized for their accomplishments. That's why at the end of the third and final year of blossom academy we hold a graduation ceremony for their shift from Kindergarten to Elementary school. This is a moment both child and parents can hold with themselves as well as teaching children to have pride in their accomplishments and have a willingness to continue to grow.
This End of the Year events is enjoyed by students, family, friends and administration to commemorate the strength in community and support.
