Introduction
Bloomy ("we," "us," "our," or "Company") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
We take privacy seriously. Unlike many mobile applications, Bloomy collects minimal data and does not require user accounts, login information, or personal identification.
Information We Collect
2.1 Personal Data - What We Do NOT Collect
Bloomy does not collect personal information from users, including: Names, Email addresses, Phone numbers, Addresses, Age or date of birth, Gender or demographic information, Payment information (payment is handled directly by Apple App Store or Google Play), Location data, Contact lists or social media connections, Device identifiers (IDFA, Android Advertising ID).
2.2 Local Device Data
The only data Bloomy stores is kept entirely on your personal device using local storage. This data includes:
Favorites/Likes: The list of affirmations you have marked as favorites
- Streak Information: Your daily engagement streak count
- Language Preference: Your selected language setting
- Notification Settings: Your preference for push notification reminders
Important: This data never leaves your device. Bloomy does not synchronize this information to our servers, does not back it up to the cloud, and does not share it with third parties.
2.3 Push Notification Device Tokens
When you enable push notifications, your device generates a unique notification token that is transmitted to Expo (our push notification service provider). This token is used solely to deliver the daily reminder notifications you have requested.
How We Use Your Information
Since Bloomy does not collect personal information, there is no user data for us to use, analyze, or share. Local data stored on your device is used solely to display your saved favorites, maintain your daily streak count, remember your language and notification preferences, and deliver notifications at your scheduled time.
Third-Party Services
4.1 Push Notifications - Expo
Bloomy uses Expo (expo-notifications) to deliver push notifications. Expo's Privacy Policy: https://expo.dev/privacy
4.2 In-App Purchases and Billing - Apple App Store and Google Play
Premium subscriptions are processed entirely through Apple's App Store or Google Play. Bloomy does not handle, store, or process credit card information or billing details.
4.3 No Other Third Parties
Bloomy does not integrate with or share data with any other third-party services, analytics providers, advertising networks, or data brokers.
Data Storage and Security
All user-generated data (favorites, streak, preferences) is stored on your device using local storage. This data remains under your control and is never transmitted to Bloomy's servers.
Children's Privacy - COPPA Compliance
Bloomy is rated for all ages and fully complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Bloomy does not collect personal information from children or any user, does not require parental consent (because no personal information is collected), does not use cookies or tracking technologies, and does not allow children to communicate with other users.
International Users and Data Transfers
All user data is stored on your personal device in your country of residence. No data is transferred to or stored on Bloomy's servers. No cross-border data transfers occur. Users in the European Union are fully protected under GDPR because Bloomy collects no personal data.
Your Privacy Rights
Since Bloomy does not collect, store, or process personal information, you can exercise your rights by:
Accessing your data: All your data is stored locally on your device
- Deleting your data: Uninstall the App or clear the App's local data
- Porting your data: Your data is stored locally on your device
You do not need to contact us to exercise these rights because your data is already in your possession on your device.
California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
Bloomy does not collect personal information from California residents, does not sell, rent, or share personal information, and does not use personal information for targeted advertising.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
Bloomy may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you by posting the updated policy with a new "Effective Date." Material changes will be communicated through in-app notification.
Data Retention
Data stored on your device persists until you manually delete it, uninstall the App, or clear the App's storage through your device settings.

Additional Privacy Information
Bloomy does not use cookies, web beacons, cross-app tracking, device fingerprinting, or analytics tools. Bloomy does not access, collect, or use your device's advertising ID.
Entire Agreement
This Privacy Policy, together with the Bloomy Terms of Use, constitutes the entire agreement between you and Bloomy regarding your privacy and our collection and use of information.
