🌸 Privacy Policy for Bloomkeep

This Privacy Policy describes how Bloomkeep (“we”, “the app”) handles information when you use the Bloomkeep Android application. By using Bloomkeep you agree to this policy.

Information the app itself collects

Bloomkeep does not require an account and does not collect or transmit your personal information. Your island, habits, moods, journal reflections, streak and settings are stored only on your device and are never sent to us. You can export or erase this data anytime in Settings, and deleting the app removes it.

Purchases (Google Play Billing)

Bloomkeep offers a single optional one-time purchase (“Unlock Everything”), processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment details; the purchase is handled by Google and your purchase status is kept on your device to unlock features. There is no subscription.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Bloomkeep offers optional, player-initiated rewarded ads (you choose to watch one to earn in-app Bloom). To serve ads, Google and its partners may collect and use certain data, including your device’s advertising identifier, ad-interaction data, approximate location (derived from IP address), and device/diagnostic information, to deliver and measure ads.

Google’s use of advertising data is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can control ad personalization at https://myadcenter.google.com and reset or limit your advertising ID in your device’s Settings → Privacy → Ads. Where required (e.g. the EEA/UK), Bloomkeep presents a consent request before serving personalized ads, using Google’s User Messaging Platform.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, Bloomkeep schedules local notifications on your device. These are generated on-device; no notification or messaging data is sent to us or any server.

Health & wellness note

Bloomkeep is a self-care companion for general wellbeing — it is not a medical device or a therapy/treatment service and does not diagnose, treat, or provide medical advice. Your mood and journal entries are personal and stay on your device.

Children

Bloomkeep is not directed to children under 13 and is rated for general audiences (13+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data security & retention

On-device data remains on your device. Data processed by Google AdMob and Google Play is transmitted securely (encrypted in transit) and handled per Google’s policies and retention practices.

Your rights

You can export or clear all app data anytime in Settings, or by deleting the app / clearing its storage in Android Settings. For questions about data handled by Google, contact us below or use Google’s privacy controls linked above.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date.
