Teacher Fa

Fa is a qualified Early Childhood Educator and Special Education Teacher. She trains and provides consultations to teachers and parents, and has almost 20 years of working with children across ages and school settings. She was also a team leader and mentor in her previous positions, and have conducted various workshops/talks at different platforms for teachers, Special Educational Needs Officers (SENOs), as well as parents and the public.

Fa is certified in the Picture Exchange Communication System (Level 1) and is familiar with Treatment and Education of Autistic and Related Communication Handicapped Children (TEACCH) approaches.

She has won numerous awards, including SPRING Singapore Excellent Service Award (Gold) and MOE’s Outstanding Contribution Award.

Fa believes in play to learn, and that all children have the potential to be great contributors to the society with the right opportunities and mindset. When working with children, she loves to include music and movement, experiential play and following their interests.
